Cinnamon Rolls Anyone?

Assalamualaikum wbt

Finals finally ended! Now I'm at home for semester break.... As usual, as a temporary nanny and housewife. (Oh I'm one good girl for fulfilling my Ummi's request of wanting me to stay at home instead of working. Ceh!)

Lately, for unknown reason, I've been craving for fresh bread and those pastries especially cinnamon roll! Urgh! Since I'm at home, so I've been thinking of making one fresh cinnamon roll on my own. I googled the recipe for cinnamon rolls, trying to find a simple yet perfect recipe, and yes, I've found one!

90 minutes Cinnamon Roll. Click here for the recipe.

I prepared the dough around 9.30pm yesterday with the intention of baking it the next morning for breakfast. But as soon as the dough is kneaded, flatten, spread with cinnamon-sugar paste, rolled, cut into pieces and arranged in the container, I just can't help it but to bake them all right at that time. However, the dough need to be rested for around 30 minutes so that it could rise almost double the size before putting it in the oven.

30 minutes passed and I was so excited to see the dough gaining its size. Oh, it's my first time by the way. Forgive me. Heeee.

It was put into the oven and baked for around 20 minutes supposedly, but my rolls did not really cooked or turned brown, so added 15 minutes more. After quite a long wait, the kitchen was filled with the aroma of cinnamon rolls, and finally it was done. I took a knife and poked the center of it just to make sure that it was not sticky. Alhamdulillah, it was perfectly baked.

I bring to you....... the freshly-baked cinnamon rolls!
This is for the breakfast but me and my sister have tasted it first. Hee, can't help it!
Aihh the texture is so fluffy and soft that it has almost killed me. Err, oke, tipu!
Alhamdulillah, Saibah said it is delicious, and now I'm enjoying the rolls with Hazelnut White Coffee. Ahhh, divine! Hihi. So this motivated me to make more pastries in the future insya Allah. I just hope that the laziness in me will not be the obstacles for making more bread next time.
