Assalamualaikum wbt
Fuuuhhhhh! It's already 1 Safar, and November is coming to an end. Final exam is coming too in just few more weeks. So these few weeks left are the most hectic weeks for the students to complete their projects and assignments before the deadline. It's like a late passenger trying to catch a moving train. It seems impossible, but become possible when he or she move fast enough to grab on the train and be steady.
Last week was the toughest week for me. With events to be handled, assignments to be submitted, and a broke down laptop, everything just seem so hard. I thought I could still bear with all the things piled up, waiting for me to get them done. I just need to stay focus and keep myself calm.
But one afternoon, after performing my Zohor prayer, I just can't hold it anymore longer. I felt that all of the exhaustion were at the peak. I felt sooooo tired and unbearable. I felt so weak and I just broke down with tears right after I gave salam.
At that time, I felt like the world around me just shut down to let me be calm and released all the stress and tiredness that have made me felt so unbearable. The most beautiful thing is, I felt that Allah was very compassionate to me at that time when He arranged it that way to let me let go all of the burdens for few moments. It's like trying to comfort me by saying " It's okay, Allah is always there, and He will always be besides you".
From the Quran, Allah says, He will not let someone claim that he is pious or have enough faith without him being tested by Allah swt. Allah test a person to see how strong is his/her dependence to Him, and yes, a test from Allah is for His servants to return to Him. When a Muslim returns to Allah swt, it's a sign of faith and a sign that he/she admit that they are weak. That they can't do anything without Allah's guidance.
Test will come to us in many forms and many ways. We need to always be humble and remember Allah all the time. So that when the time comes for us to be tested, again, He will be there to give us the strength to face the challenges. At that time, nothing else matters, because we have Allah The Almighty.
